A man has been tested for Ebola in Birmingham and another has visited a UK hospital over fears he was showing symptoms of the deadly Ebola virus.
The Department for Health confirmed the Birmingham incident to be true, A spokesman added: “We’re well prepared to identify and deal with any potential cases... Ebola is believed to have killed 672 people in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone since the outbreak began in February, according to the World Health Organization. British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond, said "he would hold a top-level government meeting to discuss the outbreak of the highly-infectious Ebola virus across West Africa which he warned posed a threat to Britain".
